Ah me. Paddling on the salt-chuck on a sunny summer afternoon. Michael is already asking me when he and I can go kayaking.
So is Jean! She's ready to do a 4 hour paddle soon. She's working on the details. Happily, neither of us have any upper extremity soreness and minimal low back discomfort. All in all, a good outting.
I noted that the kayaks we were paddling take a bit of effort to get moving and the one that I was paddling made a rather wide arc for turns unless I swept on one side and did a reverse sweep on the opposite side (with the predictable effect of stopping the kayak dead in its tracks as regards forward motion). They must have significant keels.
